I have to undergo a particular procedure. Will it hurt?

With all the advances in dentistry over the last decade, there’s no reason for a patient to be in pain during a procedure. Many of the tools we use today are quieter and less intrusive for patients. As laser dentistry professionals, we can use our lasers to provide you with the treatments you need more quickly, more accurately, and less painfully.

Our professionals are dedicated to making sure you are comfortable and relaxed while you are in our practice. We walk you through a treatment and often, our patients are surprised when we perform a presumably painful procedure doesn’t hurt a bit.

Nonetheless, we know you may feel jittery about your dental appointment. That’s why we provide the WAND, a computerized, needle-less anesthetic system, and nitrous oxide (also known as laughing gas) to help you feel more comfortable. We also offer a variety of amenities, such as music and TV, to help you get your mind off your visit.

How much will my treatment cost?

The cost depends on the type of treatment you are undergoing. No matter what the cost is, however, we are dedicated to helping you get the treatments you need when you need them. That’s why we work with most insurance companies and accept cash, check, and credit cards, such as Master Card, Visa, Discover, and American Express. If you need extensive treatment, we can also help you arrange financing through Care Credit or the Dental Fee Plan.

Will my insurance cover my treatment?

Many patients walk into our practice believing that their insurance will cover the full amount, when in reality, most insurance plans only cover a portion of their treatment. That’s why we recommend you review your dental insurance policy before your visit. As your dental professionals, we are always happy to help you make sense of your dental insurance plan.

We hope that our patients determine their own treatment and not leave it up to their insurance companies. Most people don’t realize that dental insurance is designed to help you pay for a portion of your treatment, not the whole amount. Many of our patients also don’t realize that not all insurance companies are created equal. Some companies haven’t updated their fee schedules in years, even with the cost of living index, while others don’t include routine and necessary services, such as cleanings, in their coverage plan.

That’s why we’re here to help you. Before any treatment, we sit down and discuss all fees and financial arrangements with you. Do you take my insurance?

We work with most insurance plans (except Dental HMOs) and try to be as well versed as we can with most plans. Even if we don’t accept your insurance carrier, we are always happy to file claims for you.
